Bollywood film actress Juhi Chawla has been in the news lately for her 5G network case. Following the dismissal of her case by the Delhi High Court, she has now put out a video, explaining her stance. She clarified in the 1:24 minute-long clip that she is not against 5G at all. Days after Delhi High Court dismissed Chawla’s lawsuit, the actress has now come forward to clarify why she filed the petition against 5G technology. In the clip shared, she begins by saying, ‘There has been so much noise in the last few days, that I was not even able to hear myself. I feel amid all the noise, a very important message got lost. We are not against 5G…in fact, we are welcoming of it. All we are asking is that the authorities certify that 5G is safe..’
The actress further explained that she wants the authorities to publish their research in the public domain so that the fear regarding 5G will no longer exist. ‘We just want to know that it is safe for children, pregnant women, unborn children, people who are old, for flora, fauna etc. that is all we ask’, she further added.

Last week, Juhi Chawla’s lawsuit challenging the 5G technology was dismissed by the Delhi High Court. In addition to the dismissal, the petitioners were asked to pay a price of 20 Lakh rupees as well. As per a leading daily, the court described their lawsuit as a ‘publicity stunt’ and called it ‘defective.’
