Actress Olivia Munn is expecting her first child with 39-year-old comedian John Mulaney. The couple who started dating earlier this year, announced the good news on social media. Mulaney appeared on Tuesday’s Late Night with old friend Seth Meyers and talked about his difficult year, which includes a drug relapse, treatment, and a divorce from ex-wife Anna Marie Tendler.

Talking about Mulaney, Munn told host Seth Meyers, “She held my hand through that hell, and we’re having a baby, together. I’m going to be a father! I’m incredibly happy, and we’re both really happy.” “In September [2020], I headed to rehab. In October, I was released from my prison sentence. My ex-wife [Anna Marie Tendler] and I moved out of our house. Then, in the spring, I travelled to Los Angeles and met and began dating Olivia.”

Prior to sharing the baby news, the star offered a rundown of his “challenging” year, which included several trips to rehab amid a battle with drug and alcohol addiction and filing for divorce from his ex-wife Anna Marie Tendler. Before splitting up in 2017, the actress was in a relationship with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Talking about his girlfriend’s role in keeping him sober and healthy through his difficult journey of battling his addiction, Mulaney said, “Olivia and this baby have helped save me from myself”. Mulaney’s relationship with his wife of six years was first revealed in May, Mulaney and his wife had divorced. Munn spoke about her thoughts on children and marriage back in 2019, when she was dating Tucker Roberts.

Munn has appeared in a lead role on the television series Beyond the Break and also has supporting roles in the comedy films like Big Stan and Date Night. She has appeared in the superhero film Iron Man 2 and comedy-drama Magic Mike.
