Janhvi Kapoor On Expectations From Star Kids, ‘I Don’t Think It Is Easy For Anyone’
Bollywood actress Jahnvi Kapoor in an interview spoke about star kids and outsider’s struggle in the film industry.
Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma recently spoke about their new film Roohi and its characters in an interview. Roohi is a horror-comedy that created history as one of the first films to get a theatrical release after the Covid-19 pandemic. In the interview, the actress spoke about her previous OTT releases, star kids and her efforts.

In the interview, Janhvi was asked to speak about the problems faced by star kids and how it is not as easy as it seems. Janhvi said that she thinks it is not easy for anyone to make their position in the Hindi film industry, be it a star kid or not. She also said that Roohi cannot be called her Litmus test as it is releasing under difficult circumstances, but she showed her positivity and said that she hopes the audience likes her work as he has worked hard for it.
When the trio was asked how they felt about the theatrical release of the movie, Rajkummar said that the feel of the big screen cannot be created anywhere else. So they decided to release the movie in theaters. Varun Sharma said that although he is known for his comedy roles, the pressure of being comical laid equally on all the actors throughout the film. He says that the characters create a unique and quirky world that will be very enjoyable on the big screen.
The star cast of Roohi revealed that Janhvi’s character in the movie is possessed by a ghost and Varun’s character seems to fall in love with that ghost. The movie has released in theaters on the 11th of March and has got mixed reviews so far from the audience and critics.
