Jammu & Kashmir: 4G Internet Services To Be Restored In Ganderbal And Udhampur
The high-speed internet will be provided to post-paid subscribers, while pre-paid customers would only be able to enjoy the benefits after verification.

Almost a year after internet services were restricted in Jammu and Kashmir, the administration decided to restore 4G internet services in Ganderbal (Kashmir) and Udhampur (Jammu) district of the union territory on Sunday, August 16. The process will take place on a trial basis initially. According to news reports, the high-speed internet will be provided to post-paid subscribers, while pre-paid customers would only be able to enjoy the benefits of the services after completing the necessary verification process.
jammSources stated that 4G internet will be restored on a trial basis and timely reviews will take place to ensure that there are no glitches in the services. The administration also confirmed that the internet speed will continue to be restricted to 2G in rest of the Jammu & Kashmir districts.
