Mitali Mayekar grabbed eyeballs with her bold performance in the ZEE5 Original Sex Drugs & Theatre. The talented actress is now making her return on TV after three years with Zee Marathi’s new show Ladachi Me Lek Ga. With every new promo, the excitement is going a level up and Mitali would agree! She’s also eager to get back on TV after her stint in Freshers and will be seen playing a nurse named Kasturi on the show alongside Aroh Welankar and Smita Tambe. The gorgeous actress got candid in an interview given to a popular publishing website and spoke at length about her new show, playing the lead role, and her acting journey.

Mitali made headlines with her meaty roles in Freshers and Sex Drugs & Theatre. This time around the actress will be flaunting her romantic side with Ladachi Me Lek Ga which is her character’s dreadful journey of love. When asked about her role in the show, Mitali replied, “I’m playing the character of a girl-next-door who comes from a humble background. She works as a nurse in a hospital.”

The actress has been around in the industry for the past few years but hadn’t played the lead on TV until she bagged the role in Ladachi Me Lek Ga. “I started off my career as a child artist and had always dreamt of playing the leading lady. So, playing a lead character on TV is a dream come true. Having said that, it is a huge responsibility. I hope that I do full justice to what’s offered to me,” the actress said.

Ladachi Me Lek Ga will be hitting your screens on September 14, every Monday to Saturday, at 7 PM on Zee Marathi. You can also watch the premiere episodes of the show before it telecasts on TV with the ZEE5 Club Pack.
