The first reason why Sunrisers Hyderabad lost to Rajasthan Royals was because they could not break Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler’s partnership. The duo remained on strike for a very long time and made 150 runs together for their team. While Jos Buttler smashed boundaries after boundaries, Sanju Samson provided a very strong support to him. Most of the runs were scored by these two players and they put together a very high bar for the Sunrisers.
The second reason for Sunrisers Hyderabad‘s defeat was Jos Buttler’s century. This was his first century in IPL and T20. The talented batsman scored a total of 124 runs in 64 balls. He was the prime reason why Rajasthan Royals won because he contributed the most in the game from the team. Buttler had hit many boundaries while he was batting and that constituted of 11 fours and 8 sixes. Thirdly, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batsmen failed to create an impact during the second innings. None of the players scored well and all their wickets were exhausted very quickly. Manish Pandey from Sunrisers was the highest scorer with 31 runs while Jonny Baistrow came a close second with 30 runs.
