IPL 2020: SRH’s Man Of The Match Shahbaz Nadeem Feels Good To Perform In A Crucial Match Against MI
Shahbaz Nadeem walked away with the man of the match trophy in the previous match against Mumbai Indians and expressed that it feels good to perform in a crucial match.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s ace left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem took two important wickets in the 12th over against Mumbai Indians‘ batting. This put the MI team in a questionable position from where there was no going back for the team. Shahbaz was given the man of the match award for his impressive performance where he packed up two important wickets of Suryakumar Yadav and Krunal Pandya in a span of three deliveries only. His performance allowed Hyderabad to cap MI down to 149 in the total 20 overs. In the post-match conference, Shahbaz was asked how he feels after performing in a crucial match for his team. Shahbaz expressed that it always feels good when a player is performing for his team, but more when the match itself is crucial. As a player, Shahbaz felt nice to perform as the league itself has reached at an important position where performing is the only option left for many teams in order to stay in the competition and course through the end. Shahbaz also expressed that there was a certain pressure on the team to perform as they have won their previous matches, thus, keeping the momentum going was important.

Nadeem has played a total of 117 first-class matches but also revealed in the post-match conference that he is used to not getting a lot of games. Thus, when he was given an opportunity to showcase his talent, he gave his 100%, according to the spinner himself. Besides this, the bowler also expressed that the entire bowling line up of his team has been performing well in the past matches.
