SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer Sandeep Sharma recently once again dismissed Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli on Saturday. The bowler than also reckons that getting the Indian skipper out is always a special feeling for him. In the current season of IPL, this was the seventh time that he has managed to dismiss Captain cool Kohli in the matches. SunRisers Hyderabad‘s Sandeep Sharma said, “I have the responsibility to read the pitch as soon as possible and pass the message to other bowlers. Pitch was a little bit sticky, so the plan was to bowl wicket to wicket as much as possible and change of phase and variations, we tried to do that and it came up nicely.” While talking about the mood of the team, he further said, “We have an attitude of ‘go and express’ and the same attitude we’ll apply in the next game, it’s like a do-or-die game for us.”

After Virat Kohli was dismissed in the last match, Sandeep Sharma further said that “Kohli is one of the best batsmen of this game, his wicket is always special. I tried to bowl as much wicket to wicket as possible and kept the bowling variety. The ball was swinging well, as there was moisture in the pitch. Our strategy proved effective”.

For the unversed, in the 12 innings against Sandeep Sharma, Virat Kohli managed to score just 68 runs with a strike rate of 139. Later, the batsman fell prey to the bowling of Sandeep seven times. Moreover, with this win, SunRisers Hyderabad has now come in the fourth spot in the points table with 12 points from 13 matches. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Banglore is in second place with 14 points. Also, SRH will have next match with Mumbai Indians on Tuesday, that is on November 3, 2020, at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
