The talented all-rounder Hardik Pandya played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 42 runs in just 22 balls to finish the innings for India on a winning note. With 14 required off the last over, he smashed two sixes in the over to achieve the target with two balls to spare.

On the other hand, Daniel Sams made his T20I debut for Australia in Sunday’s game against India. In his debut game, he picked the crucial wicket of Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The all-rounder bowled the deciding last over of the game but he was hammered for two maximums by Hardik Pandya. Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan top-scored for India with his knock of 52 runs in just 36 balls. Shikhar Dhawan’s important knock at the top order consisted of four boundaries and two sixes.

India required a solid start of the innings to win the game and the opening pair of KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan made sure that India gets off to a flying start. KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan provided a 56 run partnership for the first wicket. Captain Kohli also chipped in with a whirlwind knock of 40 runs off 24 balls. Hardik Pandya provided a good finish at the end to make sure that India ends up on the winning side. In the first innings, T Natarajan took two wickets while Shardul Thakur and Yuzvendra Chahal took one wicket each.
