India Is Currently Developing and Testing Three Vaccines To Fight Coronavirus: PM Narendra Modi
Mass production of the novel Coronavirus vaccine in India will only begin after scientists and concerned authorities give their nod.
According to recent news reports, India’s seven-day average of daily new cases has been higher than that of the United States and Brazil. But as the country continues to witness a sharp spike in Covid-19 cases, PM Narendra Modi announced during his Independence Day speech on August 15 that three vaccines to fight the novel Coronavirus are currently being developed and tested in India, .
He further added that the roadmap for the production of coronavirus vaccine and its distribution to every Indian in the least amount of time is ready. However, he said that the mass production of coronavirus vaccine will only begin once scientists give their approval. Cases in India have been increasing rapidly ever since since the outbreak and now the present number of Coronavirus cases in the country stands at 25,89,682 with around 49,980 deaths.
