Recently a lot of political turmoil has been taking place in the state of Rajasthan. Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has revolted against the Congress Party. Sources also allege that Sachin may form a new party. After this dramatic political upheaval, five premises of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s aides, Rajiv Arora, vice president of the party’s Rajasthan unit, and Dharmendra Rathore, were raided this morning. Officials at the Income Tax Department confirmed that  premises linked to the two leaders were raided in Jaipur and Kota over allegations of “tax evasion”.

Over 80 officers were a part of massive raids launched early this morning in four cities – Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Kota. A lot of cash and other expensive commodities were seized by the Income Tax Department from these locations. Sources have also confirmed that a large amount of black money and some digital data have also been seized.
