Rakesh Roshan directed romantic action film Kaho Naa….Pyaar Hai was a big hit and a blockbuster film back in 2000, marking the debuts of his son, Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel. The film had made the lead actor, Hrithik, a superstar overnight. Right from the actors’ performance, to the songs and even the direction of the film, everything got huge praise from the audience, and they just loved the movie.
The romantic drama was released on January 14, 2000, and it has not lost its essence, to date. The film today has completed its 22 years. And taking to social media, lead actor Ameesha Patel shared an unseen picture from the days of shooting, in New Zealand on her handle. The picture shows the team of Kaho Naa…. Pyaar Hai including lead actors Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel herself, on a roller coaster, enjoying the trip.
Recalling the fun days of shooting back in 2000 in New Zealand, the actress expressed about flying time. She also mentioned in her post that she came across the picture while shooting for Gadar2 and she feels happy that the film has completed 22 years of big success today. Soon after her post, fans started reacting to it by dropping heart emojis and smileys.
Kaho Naa…..Pyaar Hai event went on to be inducted into the Guinness World Records (2000) for being a feature film with the maximum number of awards won. The film received a total of 92 awards in several different categories. It also made it to the Limca Book Of Records (2003) for receiving the greatest number of awards in Bollywood. Likewise, Hrithik Roshan became the only actor ever to receive both the Filmfare Award For Best Actor and the Filmfare Award For Best Debut for the same film.
Following its success, Rakesh Roshan and son Hrithik Roshan collaborated in several other movies, including Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish, Kites, Krrish 3, and Kaabil.
