Medicines and other healthcare equipment has been damaged due to waterlogging in the hospital in Mahoba.

Monsoons have started taking a toll across the nation as Uttar Pradesh too is experiencing disastrous flood situations similar to Assam and Bihar. This incessant rain in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh has exposed the terrible conditions of their district hospital as it flooded post rain. Severe infrastructural damage has been reported as medicines and other healthcare equipment was found floating in the waterlogged hospital.
Sources state that the hospital has turned into a pond, and is waterlogged throughout. Patients are finding it difficult to avail healthcare services. Moreover, the waterlogging may lead to spread of dangerous diseases. Amid the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, maintaining health and hygiene of their surroundings for patients should be top priority for any hospital. However, the unfortunate situation due to heavy rains is creating a lot of problems for patients as well as hospital authorities.
