Honey Singh has made a grand comeback with his new single titled ‘First Kiss’. The song marks the debut of a new talent, Ipsitaa, who is sharing the screen space with Honey Singh. The video of Yo Yo Honey Singh’s new song was supposed to be shot in the picturesque locations of Miami. Most of the music videos of Honey Singh’s songs are shot abroad and have big budgets but due to the COVID-19 lockdown, the video for First Kiss song was shot in Delhi. In a live chat, Honey Singh mentioned that he always wants his videos to be larger than life but to shoot such video more than two hundred crew members are required. However, during the unlock phase, he knew a large crew cannot be made available and therefore he decided to play smartly. He informed that he and his team decided that they will pull up the song with the help of VFX. Giving insights about the shoot, he said that they shot the song with 40-50 crew members and took all the necessary precautions while shooting.
Honey Singh said that the shooting of the song was just 50 percent while the song was lifted up by VFX and colouring. The singer talked about VFX and said that VFX was to be done in Mumbai by a company. However, they said that it will take four months for them to complete the song. Later, Vrinda, who owns a studio in Delhi took two months to complete the VFX for First Kiss.
Honey Singh mentioned that he was sceptical as most of the song was depending upon the VFX . He also admitted that during the shoot they made a lot of mistakes from VFX perspective. However, with the help of post-production, they were able to release a good song for the audience to enjoy. First Kiss released on 24 November 2020.
