Know why funding have been stopped for Ram Mandir construction by UPI and Bar codes.
People from across the country have been collaborating for the construction of the Ram Mandir by donating money to the Ram Mandir trust in Ayodhya. However, there have been several instances where fake receipts and UPIs have been made to do money fraud. Therefore, funding has been stopped through UPI and bar codes for Ram temple construction.
According to a report, 12 fake UPIs have been made to do the money fraud in the name of Ram temple construction. People have been creating UPIs which have names similar to the UPIs created by the Ram Mandir trust for donation. The cyber cell investigated the matter and closed the fake UPIs used for the money fraud. These people do this kind of fraud by changing one or two words in the UPI address which is not instantly recognized by the people.
Due to such frauds, the Ram Mandir Nirmaan trust has decided to stop taking donations through UPI and bar code. In an interview, Champat Rai, secretary of Ram Mandir Nirmaan trust informed, “We have stopped taking surrender funds or donations through UPI and barcodes. It is not a reliable medium at all. Our team has been told that there is a mess created because of these mediums and banks themselves have given information about this. We are taking donations in only three bank accounts that are the State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, and Bank of Baroda.” He told that fake news is coming from all over the country in the name of collecting surrender money.
According to Champat Rai, FIRs have been registered in many states of the country. According to the information with the trust, 8 – 10 of such FIRs have been registered so far. Talking about the donations, he said that they have received a huge amount of money which is more than they expected. However, the final amount would be declared soon after all the checks will be cleared from the bank.
