Television actor Shweta Tiwari recently opened up on the concept of Valentine’s Day and why it isn’t considered a big deal in India. Shweta Tiwari stated that these special days have now become a matter of fashion and trend, which is why people have been following it closely these days. She also shed some light on her daughter, Palak Tiwari’s debut film which is expected to hit theatres in June 2021. She revealed that Palak usually makes creative decisions herself and does not seek help from her mother. Shweta Tiwari believes they both belong to different acting fields and hence their way of working is also different from each other. Palak Jain has also lately been in the news after her Instagram account broke down without any explanation. Most fans believe that it was deleted or deactivated for a few days.

The actor recently shed some light on the concept of Valentine’s Day and its limited popularity in India.

Shweta Tiwari feels that special occasions like Valentine’s Day and Karwa Chauth have become a trend amongst the current generation. She believes people celebrate these days for the sake of fashion and also feels there is no harm in it as it beautifully celebrates love and bonding. Shweta Tiwari stated that unlike western cultures, everyone in India lives with their parents or kids and hence, there is barely any need to celebrate days like Parents’ Day or Daughter/Son’s Day. People in India spend most of their time with their families, unlike the people abroad, who visit their families only on weekends.

Shweta Tiwari also revealed that her daughter, Palak Tiwari has been creating her own path when it comes to a career in acting. She only gives out advice when Palak asks for them and most of the times, the final call is taken by Palak herself. Shweta feels there is a world of difference between the process in television and movies, which is the main reason for the difference in their approaches.
