Here is A Look At Debt-Free PM Modi’s Personal Wealth And Assets
In his assets declaration submitted to the PMO, Modi revealed his personal wealth and his tax-saving investments publicly
Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared his movable and immovable assets recently through his submissions to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). His total wealth is estimated at 2.85 crore rupees, which is an increase of 36 lakhs from last year.
There is a total of 3.38 lakhs in his bank account, while he has 36,450 rupees in cash. The PM also declared that he has zero debts towards any person or institution. While he does not own a personal vehicle, he has a flat in his name in Gandhinagar in Gujarat.
As a part of making his assets public, Modi also shared his tax saving investments, that includes a National Savings Certificate valued at 8,43,124 rupees, apart from which he pays a life insurance premium of 1,50,957 rupees annually. Tax-free bonds of 20,000 rupees are also held by the popular leader.
The two-time PM has always been very modest about his personal possessions, acknowledging multiple times that the nation’s 130 crore people are his most cherished wealth and asset.
