Hathras Gang-Rape Case: Two Different Claims; What Is The Truth?
Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) of Aligarh Muslim University, in its final opinion, ruled out the possibility of sexual intercourse in the case.
After the injured Hathras victim wailed in a video statement that she had been sexually assaulted, a medico-legal examination conducted on her by an Aligarh Hospital recorded a “complete penetration” of her vagina, “strangulation” and “gagging.” But the same Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), in its final opinion, ruled out the possibility of sexual intercourse in the case, citing forensic analyses. Constant questions are being raised about whether or not the Hathras victim was gang-raped like Nirbhaya.
However, in her last statement, the victim had said that she was raped. Despite this, the UP Police and the government are denying the rape incident. What is the truth of the gang-rape? In the medical report that came out on the gang-rape with the victim of Hathras, different claims have also been made. The victim’s medico-legal inspection by the hospital in Aligarh referred to ‘complete penetration,’ ‘strangulation’ and ‘mouth gagging’ in the private part.
