Hathras Gang-Rape Case: Randeep Singh Surjewala Compares UP CM To Ravan

Voices are rising all over the country to bring justice to the Hathras gang-rape victim. On Thursday (October 1), former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi left for Hathras from Delhi. Both leaders say that they will meet the victim’s family. At some distance from Delhi, when the convoy of the two leaders reached close to Greater Noida, the police stopped them. After which they left for Hathras with thousands of workers on foot. During this, Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala has made a sharp attack on UP CM Yogi Adityanath and compared him to Ravan.

She died on Tuesday (September 29), prompting nationwide outrage, protests and calls for justice. Politics is also on full swing in Uttar Pradesh. During the march towards Hathras, Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala attacked Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Surjewala compared UP CM to the villain Ravan, the rival of Lord Ram, from the epic Ramayan.
