Hathras Gang Rape Case: Mother Of Victim Narrates The Horrific Incident
The victim’s mother claimed that the culprits first dragged her daughter into a field, then they broke her spinal cord, gouged out her eyes and cut off her tongue.
On September 14, a -year-old Dalit woman from Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras was brutally raped and murdered and later died at Safdarjung hospital in Delhi. The woman’s mother narrated the entire incident. She claimed that the culprits first dragged her daughter into a field, then they broke her spinal cord, gouged her eyes out, and cut off her tongue during the brutal rape. However, when reporters contacted the Superintendent of Police, he stated that the girl’s tongue wasn’t cut. Police also said that the initial medical report suggests no sign of rape.
The four accused men have been arrested under rape and murder charges. As of now, monetary compensation of Rs 10 lakh is being given to the family of the woman. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had a telephonic conversation with PM Modi and has formed a special team to investigate into the incident. Sources confirmed that the investigating team will submit the report in the next seven days.
