Hathras Case: SIT Given 10 More Days To Submit Report To CM Yogi Adityanath
SIT will require some more time to carry out an in-depth investigation in this case as the team does not want to compromise at any point.
A serious outrage had broken among the masses after a 19-year-old Dalit woman was raped and murdered by four men from the upper caste. To investigate in this matter and come up suitable conclusion, the Yogi government had set up a 3 member SIT (Special Investigation Team) (SIT). The team which was supposed to submit the consolidated report in seven days have been given 10 more days of time to file its report. According to the news reports, the seven days period given to SIT to submit the report gets over today, October 7 and sources also confirmed that the Chief Minister will have to wait for another 10 days to get the reports from SIT.
The SIT have been interrogating family members of the victim as well as the four accused men. Sources also claimed that the SIT will require some more time to carry out an in-depth investigation in this case and the team does not want to compromise on that.
