Hathras Case: Riots Were Planned Via Digital Platforms To Defame The Government, Alleges UP Government

After the recent gangrape and murder of a Dalit girl in Hathras, massive protests and outrage were triggered all across the country with the opposition parties slamming the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh for its negligence. The case is surrounded by a lot of political drama. The UP government is now claiming that there was a global plot to defame the government. It also states it is a planned conspiracy to spark riots in Uttar Pradesh via digital platforms on a foreign server.

CM Yogi Adityanath said that the state government has always encouraged development and those who couldn’t digest the progress made by the UP government is planning riots in the state to distract the people and disturb the peace. Further, he warned the opposition parties that they will have to face necessary consequences for promoting riots and encouraging casteism.
