The Hathras case is no longer just a case of justice for a daughter, as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously claiming that there was a conspiracy of riots in Uttar Pradesh under the guise of Hathras. Meanwhile, four Popular Front of India (PFI) cadres have also been arrested by the UP Police in the name of plotting riots on the pretext of Hathras. The Uttar Pradesh Police had on Monday (October 5) said it has arrested four people having links with the PFI and its affiliate in Mathura. The police had identified the arrested persons as Siddique from Malappuram, Atiq-ur-Rehman from Muzaffarnagar, Masood Ahmed from Bahraich and Alam from Rampur. Meanwhile, earlier, UP Police ADG had claimed that there was a deep criminal conspiracy in the backdrop of Hathras incident to malign the state government and create social unrest.
