# Acting wasn’t Dhanush’s first choice. Dhanush, who had pursued a course in Hotel Management, had planned on becoming a chef. However, his elder brother Selvaraghavan, who is now a director, pushed him to pursue acting and ever since then there has been no looking back for the actor.

# Do you remember Dhanush’s famous song ‘Why this Kolaveri di?’ Yes, the actor received the YouTube Gold Award for the song that went viral. While we all know that the song was crooned by Dhanush and the lyrics too were penned by him but do you know that the song was written in just six minutes? And not just that, the rough version of ‘Why this Kolaveri di?’ was recorded in 35 minutes. Well, Anirudh Ravichander (cousin of Dhanush’s wife Aishwarya) composed the song. Here’s how Dhanush decided to name his children

Dhanush is married to superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya. The couple has two children (sons). Since Dhanush is an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, he named his sons Yatra (synonymous with pilgrimage) and Linga (synonymous with Shiv Lingam).
