It’s indeed a special occasion today as we celebrate Guru Purnima, a day dedicated to all our Gurus in life. It is observed to express gratitude towards every single person who have guided us in our life. Many characters from our favourite Zee Marathi shows have switched into the role of a Guru on various occasions. Now that we look back upon them, we realised that we really need such characters who we could help us out by acting as a guiding light. Let’s look at 5 characters that can guide us through in life. We begin with Radhika from Mazhya Navryachi Bayko.

Radhika’s journey has been nothing but an inspiration for everyone. She rose above hatred to become a successful entrepreneur. Radhika has been through tough times herself, and therefore, is full of compassion and kindness. She showcased these qualities when she offered monetary help to Shanaya who was suffering from a financial crisis. Radhika kept all their dark history aside and got Shanaya’s life back on track. These are reasons why need a Guru like Radhika in our lives. What say?

2. Abhijeet from Agga Bai Sasubai

Abhijeet from Agga Bai Sasubai has also proved to be an effective Guru several times. Despite being a celebrity chef, Abhijeet takes time out of his busy schedule to listen to Shubhra’s concerns. He also tries to resolve problems by providing a possible solution to it. After seeing that Soham’s getting on Shubhra’s nerves, Abhijeet decided to sort out the matter all by himself. He even did the unthinkable and made Soham join his workplace to lessen Shubhra’s worries. The latter affectionately calls him ‘sir’ and we think that he deserves every bit of respect for his selfless work.

3. Swami Samarth from Krupa Sindhu

Swami Samarth is an avatar of Lord Datta belonging to the Dattatreya sect. Just like other incarnations in the sect, Swami followed the duty of Guru and taught his disciples about deity worship, values, and spirituality. At his divine abode in Akkalkot, he amassed thousands of followers and guided them all to the path of the divine. Swami Samarth is believed to have taken birth to reform his disciples and cure their sufferings.

4. Dada Mama

Dada Mama is the head of the joint family seen in Maza Hoshil Na. Since he’s the eldest amongst Aditya’s four uncles, his word is considered as final. Dada Mama is also known for putting his family first in every given situation. His role in Aditya’s life is that of a philosopher and guide. He has offered suggestions that have proved beneficial for Aditya to progress in his career. Dada Mama’s contribution in Aditya’s career needs to acknowledged and we couldn’t think of a better day than Guru Purnima!

5. Anuradha from Mrs Mukhyamantri

Mrs Mukhyamantri’s Anuradha is yet another character who surely needs to go on this list of Gurus. She has stayed with Samar through thick and thin and backed every crucial plan of his. Being a veteran in the field, Anuradha has also offered her expert advice to Samar while strategising political campaigns, dealing with the voters, and appointing the right people to work for him. Having Anuradha by his side, Samar will surely become the Chief Minister of the state one day and we hope to see that happening soon.
