Scientists all over the world are getting close to producing a vaccine for the virus as we have some promising candidates but it will take some time for everyone to get a shot. Here is all about the two companies that are ahead of everybody in coming up with an effective vaccine. Pfizer Biotech Vaccine and the Moderna Shot are leading the race at the moment and both of these are said to be 90% effective. First up is the Moderna Vaccine. Even though the news about this new vaccine came in yesterday, but it still dominates the mind states of the world because of the promise that this vaccine holds. The Moderna Vaccine has been tested in the age range, 18-59 years old. This vaccine was ad mistered in two doses, the second one is taken after 21 days of taking the first dose. The Moderna Vaccine is said to be 94.5% effective which means that it will work on most of the people. The volunteers have reported mild side effects that pose no danger to life.
Here’s an estimate of the countries who have ordered the vaccine. The list being Canada, European Union, Israel, Japan, Qatar, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The United States could be the first to get the vaccine as the American s have ordered 20 million doses. The Moderna President has said that they have planned to produce about 20 million doses of the vaccine by the end of this year. The company looks forward to making 500 million to billion doses next year but that will be a “24 hours a day operation”.

The Pfizer Biotech Vaccine has been tested on two age groups, 12-55 years old and also above 55 years old. This vaccine was ad mistered in two doses, the second one is taken after 21 days of taking the first dose. The Pfizer Biotech Vaccine is said to be 90% immune response with no side effects reported. They want to supply over one billion doses in the next year.
