Google Photos Have A New Feature Which Converts 2D Images To 3D
Google photos announced a new feature on its app where people could view their 2D picture as a 3D picture.
Googles Photos is one of the most important apps for Android and IOS users. A new Google Photos feature will now allow you to view the existing 2D images to life-like 3D images. High-quality photos can also be backed up on Google photos. Calling it the ‘Cinematic photos’, Google photos says it can allow you to view a 2D image into a cinematic 3D image using artificial intelligence.
This feature will be introduced to you once you update your app. Google Photos will automatically create cinematic photos and show them up in your highlight section right at the top of your photo grid. The users can also share their updated photos with their friends and family as a video. As per the company, they have used machine learning to predict a picture’s depth and produce a third-dimensional representation of it. Even if the original image did not include the depth information from the camera, Google Photos might be able to do it.
Here’s how you can change your 2D photo into a 3D photo using Google Photos:
- Go to Google Photos
- Click on memories and select Advanced
- Here you can select the picture you want to transform
Another update on Google photos will also allow you to see the location of your picture with the help of Google maps timeline. The maps timeline will keep track of all the places you have visited and show you all pictures you took right at the location. With the help of Google photos timeline, you can select a satellite of terrain layer. Users will get a notification right when they open the app and they can select the path with the help map timeline.
