Business magnate Gautam Adani has reportedly become one of the world’s top 20 billionaires as per Forbes. He very recently entered the list of the world’s top 20 billionaires. He runs the Adani group of industries which is spread across a variety of fields such as airports, data centres, defence, mines, ports and power plants. As per the reports, industrialist Gautam Adani, who was already a billionaire, added more billions to his wealth this year. This addition made him the biggest wealth gainer of 2021. As per the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Adani’s net worth became 50 billion dollars in 2021. This shows significant growth as compared to his previous net worth of 16.2 billion dollars.

As per the reports, Adani has even beaten the world’s richest industrialists Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk. Reports also suggest that the shares of almost all Adani group stocks have rallied at least 50% this year. His wealth has grown a lot in addition to investor excitement around ‘ports-to-power conglomerate’.

Reports claim that the wealth added by Adani to his pockets is a lot more than that of Mukesh Ambani, which is about 8.1 billion dollars. Adani has been reportedly expanding his business extensively in India. He has added more ports and airports in addition to the coal mines.

CEO and founder of Nykaa Advisory Services, Sunil Chandiramani, said that Adani is consistently expanding business in areas that are ‘resilient to market cycles’. The Bloomberg report has suggested that Adani total gas ltd has increased 96% this year while flagship Adani enterprise has jumped 90% this year.

In addition to this, Adani transmission Ltd has increased up to 79%, whereas more than 52% was gained by Adani Power Ltd and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones.
