Fuel Prices Continue To Surge For 13th Consecutive Day In Delhi As Per IOC Data

Prices of petrol and diesel continued to rise for the 13th successive day on June 19 with petrol at Rs 78.37 per litre and diesel at Rs 77.06 a litre.

Fuel prices today: In Delhi, petrol rose to Rs 78.37 a litre from Rs 77.81, while diesel climbed to Rs 77.06 per litre from Rs 76.43 according to the showed data available with the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). This is the 13th consecutive hike in as many days. Prices of petrol and diesel continued to rise for the 13th successive day, on Friday (June 19), with petrol rising by 56 paise per litre and diesel by 63 paise a litre in the national capital. With today’s fuel price, petrol has now gone up by Rs 7.11 per litre and diesel has risen by Rs 7.67 a litre in Delhi in the past 13 days.

The prices of the key fuels have been hiked across the country depending on the local sales tax or value-added tax (VAT) of different states. Among the other metro cities, in Mumbai, a litre of petrol today was quoted at Rs 85.21 up from 84.66, while diesel was retailing at Rs 75.53 per litre up from Rs 74.93 on Thursday (June 18).
