Fire In Building Housing NCB Office In Mumbai
No one reported injured in the incident.
A fire broke out today in the building that houses the office of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai. Fire tenders who were immediately rushed to the spot managed to douse the blaze easily, but the building was still evacuated as a precautionary measure. No one was reported injured in the incident. According to a source, the fire started on the second floor of the Foreign Post Office at the Exchange building located at Ballard Estate in South Mumbai.
The NCB has been in the news recently for its investigation into the drugs angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. The central body has already arrested Bollywood actor Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty in the case, along with a few others. Today, the NCB had also called Sushant’s former manager Shruti Modi and his former talent manager Jaya Saha for questioning in the same case.
