FIR Filed Against Arbaaz Khan And Sohail Khan For Skipping Mandatory Quarantine
Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan were booked for violating quarantine rules after returning from the UAE, a few days back. Have a look at how the case was approached.
Actors Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan were recently booked by a medical officer of the Brihanmumbai Municipal corporation (BMC), for violating pandemic rules even though they were advised otherwise. The two actors were booked for not quarantining themselves after returning from the UAE, after a short trip. Both Sohail and Arbaaz were visited by the BMC officers at their apartment in Mumbai where the actors also tried explaining themselves. They were of the stance that they had tested negative at the airport and hence decided to skip the quarantining procedure. Nirvaan Khan, Sohail Khan’s son, had also travelled with the two brothers but he was not booked, reportedly due to his age.
Here is a look at the ZEE5 video with all details related to the FIRs against Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan:
Bollywood actors and brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan were recently booked for violating mandatory quarantine protocol since they had returned from the UAE, a few days back. The two actors were supposed to quarantine themselves in Mumbai since the new rule states that UK, UAE, and Europe returnees have to follow strict rules due to the spread of the new strain of COVID 19 virus. However, they did not. Following the incident, a medical officer from BMC filed an FIR against the two actors under Section 188 and 269 of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the video attached above, BMC officers learned that the actors had not put themselves under quarantine and decided to visit the actors at their apartment. As an explanation, Arbaaz and Sohail stated that they did not stay in quarantine for 7 days because they had tested negative at the airport, on arrival. They also stated that they had booked a hotel room for the purpose but did not use it.
After the FIR was filed, the BMC officers took immediate action against the three celebrities and sent them to a hotel in Mumbai. Rooms were booked at a five-star hotel in Bandra as it is an important step to keep the people safe from the mutant virus.
