Over the years, the Fast and Furious series has evolved a lot from the original movies to recent reboots. However, each film lives up to its trademark of being a supreme action entertainer. Thus, the franchise has an eager following even in the Indian subcontinent. And to the delight of the fans, the new outing ‘Fast and Furious 9’ will be hitting the Indian screens on August 05. Yes! The wait is finally over as the much-awaited ninth installment is here.

Vin Diesel and his gang are back to entertain the masses with another action-packed follow-up of the F&F series. Directed by Justin Lin, the film is lead by Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, and Sung Kang who will be reprising their roles. And as surprising entrants in the film, Cardi B and WWE legend John Cena have joined the team. F&F 9 promises to live up to the trademark style of its popular action-based series.

The trailer of Fast and Furious 9 was released in April this year. While fans were treated with glimpses of exciting action sequences, John Cena’s devious role had piqued their interest. Cena will be seen playing Vin Diesel’s arch-enemy and brother. And the rivalry between these two characters is the major highlight of the film. Now, with less than a month to its India release, fans are eagerly rooting for the film.

Recently, Universal Pictures announced the Indian release date as August 05. Also, the film will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages. Director Justin Lin who previously helmed third, fourth, fifth, and sixth installments is back to the franchise after a long time. And that’s one of the reasons fans have high expectations from the new outing.

Well, F&F 9 has already been released in the US, Canada, China, Russia, Korea, Hong Kong, and the Middle East. The film opened up to great reviews from the franchise’s loyal fans. On the other hand, the Indian release got delayed due to the second Covid wave in the country. And now, finally, it will be making its way to the big screens on August 05.
