Farah Khan Takes Off Mask to Smell Mangoes Before Buying Them Amid Rising COVID-19 Cases in Mumbai

With the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra, it has become mandatory for everyone to take all possible precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the infection. Recently, Farah Khan was spotted sniffing mangoes at a street vendor’s fruit stall. And the popular filmmaker received some criticism about her careless move of smelling the fruit.

A few days ago, the well-known Indian filmmaker and producer was seen heading back from her visit to a salon in Mumbai by the paps. In the video captured by them, Farah Khan was seen coming across a street-side fruit vendor selling mangoes. She quickly took to the fruit stall and stopped buy some of those mangoes from the seller. However, what she did next was not appreciated by the viewers of the video.

Farah Khan picked up a few mangoes one at a time and started smelling them to determine their ripeness. Although it is a classic way to do so, it is not the smartest one amidst the scare of rising coronavirus cases in the city. She swiftly took down her mask a little to sniff each of the mangoes she picked, one at a time and put them back into their boxes. This careless act of hers was quickly called out by the people who watched the video.

Further, she interacted with the seller to ensure she was getting the best mangoes possible in a usual buyer-seller conversation. While the seller confirmed he was giving her the best ones for her to consume the same day, she continued checking out a few other mangoes. Farah Khan also interacted with the paps. She briefly joked with them asking if they could not really spot any other celebrity that day. While both laughed a little, Farah went back to shopping for the fruits.
