EXCLUSIVE: Aahana Kumra To Play Varun Mitra’s Love Interest In New ZEE5 Original Bombers

ZEE5 offers a mixed bag of digital series including The Final Call, Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story, Abhay to name a few, with a plethora of options in each genre. With Bombers, an upcoming ZEE5  original series, the OTT platform ventures into the genre of sports drama. Set in Chandannagar, West Bengal, the forthcoming series revolves around a football league team, the Bombers FC.

The web drama shall feature Jalebi actor Varun Mitra, Aahana Kumra, Sapna Pabbi, Ranvir Shorey, Prince Narula, Meiyang Chang, Anup Soni, Taher Ali and Zakir Hussain in important roles. Besides, Rohan Rai, Shivam Patil, Mridul Das, Danish Pandor, Abhilash Kumar, Saaquib Ayubi, Dev Sharma and Gaurav Sharma have also been roped in for the series.

Last seen in Yours Truly, Aahana will be seen as Varun’s love interest in Bombers. This the first time they have been placed romantically opposite each other. The story narrates the Bombers getting into a football league but a mishap changes the lives of everyone involved. Will they be able to recover from this major incident? Only time will tell.

All we can say is, Bombers is a fast-paced, high-octane sports drama with lots of football action and dynamic interpersonal relationships.
