As United States President Donald Trump recovers from COVID19 in his White House residence, his official press secretary released a statement through a letter on Wednesday with the leader’s health updates. According to the announcement, Trump is said to have developed detectable levels of the Sar-CoV-2 LGG antibodies as per his blood test results from Monday. The document also confirmed that the 74-year-old president has been free of any fever for the last four days.

During his recovery in the Walter Reed Medical Center, Trump was reportedly administered an experimental antibodies cocktail. He was given REGN-COV2, a drug by pharma company Regeneron that is yet to be cleared by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Trump has now hailed the REGN-COV2 as a treatment for Coronavirus. In a video, he said that his getting infected was a blessing from God which enabled him to get the antibodies therapy. He added that he now knows the incredible benefits of this medicine, which he will push for an emergency approval and make it free for every American.

Meanwhile, experts believe that the presence of antibodies is not an indication of the president’s recovery.
