Sidharth Malhotra is all set to make his digital debut with Director Rohit Shetty’s cop based digital show. More details about their collaboration inside. Read on to know more

Rohit Shetty is currently all set for the release of Sooryavanshi, a new addition to his cop drama universe which has a unique fanbase. The director has been promoting the film across all famous shows like Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 15, Ranveer Singh’s The Big Picture, and even the India Vs Pakistan T20 World Cup match.

Now reports have walked in that the director has sealed the deal with Sidharth Malhotra for making a digital show in the cop drama.

Rohit Shetty and Sidharth Malhotra have been discussing their collaboration for a while now and things have finally fallen in place with this web show. The shooting will take off next year and will be directed by debutant Sushwanth Prakash.

In the show, Rohit also offered Salman Khan to make a film with him, which would bring the collaboration of his popular character ‘Chulbul Pandey’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham’. Reacting to it, Salman has agreed to join hands with the director and make the film soon.

Rohit will not just be producing the series, but also be the showrunner, working closely on script and action scenes of the yet-untitled show. Apart from the aforementioned series, Sidharth is also doing a film with Dharma Production. It’s an aerial action thriller, directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre. The film too is in the prep stage and is expected to take off soon. He also has Indra Kumar directed Thank God and the Ronnie Screwvala production, Mission Majnu.

Talking about Rohit Shetty, his comic caper, Cirkus is carrying phenomenal reports in the trade and is gearing up for a late 2022 release in cinema halls across the globe. After Cirkus, he moves on to the ambitious Singham 3 with Ajay Devgn, however, the timelines are yet to be decided. The director recently made an appearance on Bigg Boss 15 with Salman Khan and during the interactions, he hinted at the possibility of his cop universe expanding further with Chulbul Pandey’s entry.

Rohit’s digital stint is said to be the most ambitious for the platform.
