However, this photo by Harish Shankar did not satiate the curiosity of the supreme hero’s fans who wondered if Sai Dharam Tej had sustained injuries to his face and this was perhaps the reason why the photo was as cryptic as it could get. The actor too had posted a picture of him giving the thumbs-up sign to add to this curiosity.

Sai Dharam Tej met with an accident on September 10. The actor suffered minor injuries and also a fracture of his collarbone. He had returned home during Dasara after nearly a month of post-recovery treatment at the hospital.

Sai Dharam Tej’s recovery had also excited Chiranjeevi, his uncle who took to Twitter to announce that the actor was returning home during Dasara. Chiranjeevi termed Sai Dharam Tej’s recovery from the accident ‘remarkable’.

While Sai Dharam Tej has maintained a radio silence of sorts since the accident, he however did thank the fans from the confines of the hospital for the success of his film Republic, which is based on the life of Karnataka cadre IAS officer D K Ravi. Sai Dharam Tej plays an upright IAS officer in this film taking on the powers that be.
