When asked about the preparation for the finals, Marcus stated that the preparation will be as usual. He also stated that when it comes to such high-pressure matches, it is better to stick to the usual strategies and routines. He said, “We will play our best in the final against Mumbai Indians.”

DC’s all-rounder Marcus has been the star player for the team during the current season. In the opening match of DC against Kings XI Punjab, Marcus scored a fifty in just 20 balls to take his team to 157 in 20 overs from 96/6 in the 16th over. His performance in the last two matches has been exceptional as the Australian cricketer ensured that his team is not humiliated after getting reduced to 0 for 3 in 1.2 overs.

When it comes to the Qualifier 2, the 31-year-old, opened the innings with Shikhar Dhawan. In the match, Marcus contributed with 38 runs off 27 balls and his innings included 5 fours and a six. The partnership with Dhawan proved to be fruitful as the duo led DC to score a massive 189. When it came to the bowling, Marcus took important wickets of Priyam Garg and Manish Pandey in the powerplay and the ultimate end of SRH by dismissing Kane Williamson in the 17th over.

Marcus also bagged the title of the Man-of-the-Match on Sunday and was seen holding a Hulk action figure. This left his fans curious. After dismissing a batsman, the all-rounder thinks he looks like the superhero Hulk when he celebrates the victory. This is what Stoinis said in a video posted by IPL’s official website, “Apparently this is what I am looking like when I am celebrating my wicket. That’s sticky. Now every time when I celebrate, I think I look like this(Hulk).”
