Defence Minister Rajnath Singh To Address India-China Border Issue In Today’s Monsoon Session
Rajnath Singh’s address will be the Government of India’s first official statement over the months-long standoff along the LAC in eastern Ladakh.

The entire nation has braced itself to know about the discussion that is going to take place in today’s monsoon session of Parliament. According to the news reports, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be addressing Lok Sabha at 3 pm today, September 15, over the ongoing India-China military standoff in eastern Ladakh. The minister was also present during the proceedings of the Lower House on Monday, September 14. Sources are of the view that Rajnath Singh’s address on the mounting border tensions will be the Government of India’s first official statement over the months-long standoff along the LAC in eastern Ladakh.
The Chinese attempts to alter the status quo in the region resulted in deadly standoffs on multiple occasions. In June, 20 Indian soldiers and an unknown number of PLA troops lost their lives after a violent clash broke out between the two forces.
