Deepika Padukone has always been a front runner and consistent game-changer whenever it comes to fashion and style. The pretty lady dons many hats. Adding to her illustrious list of accolades is the tag of being named Asia’s Most Influential Woman in Film and TV. The reports are out on the latest Gala Bingo reports.

 

For the unversed, Gala has 137 clubs all over the United Kingdom. They recently released their list of influential women from across the globe and it is based on a variety of ranking factors, which range from social media fan following to google searches for the name and the numerous media mentions. The study identified the most influential names among the world’s 100 biggest countries. The genres were as varied as music, TV and films, beauty, politics and business.

 

They also released the continent and industry-wise report and Deepika Padukone emerged on the top. She has the highest combined social media following of a staggering 139 million and thus was crowned as Asia’s Most Influential Women. Under the TV and film section, Deepika Padukone had the most searches in different criteria like Engagement Rate on Instagram, Impressions made per Tweet, 3 million Google searches on her name, and the most number of media mentions.

 

Other celebrities on this coveted list are Arianna Grande, Kim Kardashian, Adele and Celine Dion.

 

On the work front, Deepika Padukone also recently signed her second Hollywood film. It is a romantic comedy for the banner of STXFilms and Temple Hill. Also, she will co-produce the film under her Ka banner.

 

To add to this, Deepika Padukone is also the first Indian global brand ambassador for brands like Levis, Nike, Tissot and Chopard. She is also all set to launch her very own global lifestyle brand.
