Daughter’s Day special: Meet the favourite daughters- Samvrutha, Samyukta and Saptathi from Pookalam Varavayi!

Daughter’s Day is celebrated on September 27^th around the world. It came into existence to remove the traditions and practices that view the girl child as a burden. Even after so much development, countries like India and many others continue this stigma. On the occasion of Daughter’s Day, let us celebrate the amazing sister trio from Pookalam Varavayi who have given us some of the best moments. For those who are new to the show, let’s meet Samvrutha, Samyuktha and Saptathi!

1. Saptathi

Being the eldest daughter of Yatheenthran and Parvathy, Saptathi (Arathi Sojan) is vested with the responsibility of looking after her younger sisters. She is decisive, smart and bold who always tries to set an example for her younger sisters. She sometimes acts as a second mother to her siblings as she is constantly made to look after them.

Samvrutha loves her like a mother while Samyuktha always looks for her guidance. Saptathi also has given us the best moments on the show with her husband Harshan who we all love to call Sapthaharham!

2. Samyuktha

Samyuktha (Mridhula Vijai) is definitely a fan favourite on Pookalam Varavayi for her witty comebacks and fun chemistry with Abhimanyu. Even though she is going through a broken marriage with Abhimanyu, Samyuktha tries to hide her feelings as she is not one to give up.

She is the boldest in the family and is never afraid of her enemies. Unlike Saptathi, Samyuktha is not one to worry about what others think if she feels she is doing the right thing. Samyuktha’s courage was best explained recently when she caught a snake to save Abhimanyu.

3. Samvrutha

Samvrutha is the mischievous youngest daughter of Parvathy and Yatheenthran. She is street smart and quirky who always comes out as the winner in situations. She gave us one of the funniest moments on the Malayalam serial Pookkalam Varavayi when she tricked Sarath into buying her a new phone.

Samvrutha is also her mother’s favourite as she is the youngest in the family. Parvathy (Rekha Ratheesh) and Samvrutha (Prakrithi) have made us emotional during several moments with their phenomenal acting.
