Zomato has been the go-to destination for all foodies to satiate their cravings for a while now. While the brand has seen immense success in the market, lately, it has been surrounded by controversy around its delivery boy. The issue was raised when a Bangalore based influencer Hitesha Chandranee accused a Zomato executive of assault. As many celebrities have come out in support of the said Zomato delivery boy, Kamaraj, even Jai Ho actress Daisy Shah shared her thoughts on the topic.

Recently, a lot of celebrities have raised their voice in support of Kamaraj, the Zomato delivery boy from Bengaluru. Adding to the list is Daisy shah who said, “Even I believe that the case should be properly investigated.” She also said that she’s one of those people, who regularly order food from Zomato and Swiggy. Talking about the delivery boys Daisy added, “I actually see them work very hard and I personally believe that it’s a story which is being made up. I really feel bad for the delivery guy. It could be his only way to earn his bread and butter.”

When the actress was asked about her take on the whole controversy and how people are saying that even in the 21st-century people are cooking up stories like this, Daisy replied, “We talk so much about gender equality and feminism, but it’s not necessary that girls are always right. Sometimes they can be wrong as well.” The actress also added that it isn’t about the gender or the status of the person, both should be given equal chance at explaining their sides. She also added that no judgements should be made without proper investigation.

On the professional front, the actress said that she’s hopeful to see two of her films getting released this year. Daisy will start the shooting of one of the films by the end of March and the other by the end of April.
