Like Murad in Gully Boy, Rahim too is a driver. Do you remember the moment when Murad is in the car with his employer’s daughter? The girl is crying and Murad looks at her through the rearview mirror and feels a connection, wanting to comfort her but can’t. This inspires the lyrics of his next song, ‘Doori’.

You can watch the song Doori on ZEE5.

In Crashh, Rahim is the driver of a girl named Alia (Anushka Sen), who actually is his estranged twin sister, and they both don’t know this yet. There is a brief moment in the Crashh teaser, when Rahim is carefully guiding Alia towards the car, giving her the support she needs when she is emotional. While Murad in Gully Boy felt an unknown connection with his employer’s daughter, Rahim in Crashh, actually has a long-forgotten connection with Alia.

Also, do you remember moments of Murad rapping on the streets in Gully Boy with his fellow rappers? Donning the simplest clothes, he rocks the feel of the streets while rapping. Some of those moments, you can see in the Gully Boy songs Mere Gully Mein and Train Song. There is also a track called India 91, where all the real rappers from the streets of Dharavi display their talent. Watch India 91, Mere Gully Mein and Train Song on ZEE5.

When we see Rahim grooving in the streets with his friends in the Crashh trailer, we are definitely reminded of those moments. He also says in the character promo that Gully Boy is his inspiration to make it big as a dancer. Watch this journey of the new Gully Boy, Rahim and if he makes it big as a dancer in Crashh on ZEE5.
