Many Bollywood celebrities took to their social media accounts and reacted to the new weekend lockdown that has been put into effect in Mumbai. While many like Shaan and Diana Penty posted quirky posts on their social media, many like Soni Razdan and Vishal Dadlani expressed their concerns over problems related to the lockdown.

Popular singer Shaan took to his Instagram and posted a photo of him looking dapper in a beautiful ensemble and wrote, “Ready for the Weekend!!! But nowhere to go !!?!” Then he also encouraged his fans to stay at home and follow the rules of the lockdown to stay safe. Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar also posted a photo on her Instagram which featured an ariel view of a taxi stand full of vehicles and the bustling city of Mumbai in a standstill. She captioned the photo as City on Pause.

Actress Adah Sharma posted a video of her playing a flute on her Instagram. She beautifully played the title track of the movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and entertained her fans on the lockdown weekend. She wrote that playing the flute is her new hobby and labelled herself a Nobody. Another popular actress, Diana Penty posted a reel where she can be seen imitating a voice saying, “I can’t talk right now.” and then going back to sleep. The actress sarcastically wrote, ” Major weekend plans.” as a caption for the reel.

Actress Soni Razdan took to Twitter and said that she cannot send food to her parent’s house and she enquired if any takeaway service was available in Mumbai on the weekends. Singer Vishal Dadlani also took to Twitter and raised concern over children going to school while everything else is closed in the lockdown.
