COVID-19: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Tests Negative; Thanks Everyone For Good Wishes
A day after Delhi Chief Minister was reported with COVID-19 symptoms, his tests reports came out as negative, on Tuesday.
CMChief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal has tested negative for the Coronavirus disease, said his office on Tuesday (June 9). Aged 51, Kejriwal has not been meeting people since Sunday afternoon after he first felt feverish. Subsequently, he decided to self-isolate, cancelled all scheduled meetings and then followed it up with a COVID-19 test, in which his reports came out as negative, confirming that he is not infected by the deadly virus. The news was shared by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA and spokesperson, Raghav Chadha, on Twitter.

“The fever has subsided and he is now feeling well. The COVID-19 test was administered in the morning,” said the CM’s office after Kejriwal’s test results came in the evening. In a press conference, addressing the rise of Coronavirus cases in India, Delhi CM thanked everyone who sent out best wishes and prayed for his well-being. He appreciated their support and assured that he is hail and hearty.
