Coronavirus Patients Dance With Doctors In Raipur Hospital
The patients danced as the doctors cheered during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Raipur
India has almost 34 lakh cases of COVID19, with more than 75,000 infections reported in a single day yesterday. While the doctors are overwhelmed with the swarming number of patients reporting in, a happy video has emerged online from a hospital in Chhattisgarh.
The medical facility in the Mana district in Raipur, celebrated the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi with a happy dance by the doctors as well as the patients. Divided by a glass, the medical professionals cheered as the masked patients on the other side performed a garbha (traditional Gujarati dance) and some Bollywood moves, after praying to an idol of lord Ganesha. It is interesting to see the patients enjoying themselves despite the worldwide fear at the mere mention of coronavirus.
The hospital is currently treating 60 positive patients. Chhattisgarh has reported close to 25,000 cases of the virus till now, with 231 deaths. Raipur is meanwhile inching close the 10,000 mark.
