Congress Leader P. C. Sharma Demands CBI Probe Into Vikas Dubey’s Arrest
It’s a game of “shelter and surrender” says the MLA from Bhopal.
Member of Legislative Council (MLA) from Bhopal Dakshin-Paschim, P. C. Sharma has demanded a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the arrest of Vikas Dubey. The Congress leader has also questioned the Madhya Pradesh government over how the fugitive gangster managed to travel from Faridabad to Ujjain, undetected.
“There’s no question about the police’s efforts in this case. But Vikas Dubey, who had once killed a minister inside a police station, had managed to escape then. After that, he would show his clout during every election. Nobody could fight the elections. The BJP rules Uttar Pradesh right now. How did he get informed about the raid before the police could even arrive?” asked P. C. Sharma.
The MLA even asked how the gangster arrived in another BJP-ruled state in order to hide, alleging collusion between the two states. It’s a game of “shelter and surrender” said Sharma about the incident. Vikas Dubey was arrested today at the Mahakal temple in Ujjain Madhya Pradesh after a manhunt was started for him a few days ago.
