In the previous episode of Chembarathi, Akhila reaches the hospital while Anand is busy arguing with the doctor. Akhila speaks her heart out to an unconscious Kalyani. She argues with Sivaramakrishnan but later prays in the puja room.

In the latest episode of Chembarathi, Anand breaths a sigh of relief on learning about Kalyani’s condition. Anand requests the Doctor to let him meet Kalyani. Kalyani gets shifted to the room. Vilasini mocks Anand while at the hospital. She also makes sure that Priyanka is informed about Kalyani’s status. Priyanka gets worried when Vilasini tells her that Kalyani is alive. Later, Sivaramakrishnan asks Anand to go meet Akhila and apologise to her. He also asks him to take Akhila’s blessings. 

Anand reluctantly visits his house. Akhila sits in prayer in the puja room. Meanwhile, Anand surprises her with his visit. Akhila refuses to recognise Anand. Anand argues with Akhila. Akhila tells Anand that he is not her son anymore. She curses Anand and asks him to leave. Anand gets infuriated by Akhila’s behaviour and leaves. Anand informs Sivaramakrishnan that he is leaving as he is the root cause of all AKhila’s issues. Sivaramakrishnan gets upset. Later, Anand speaks with Kalyani and questions her about consuming poison. Anand gives Kalyani her ‘Thali’ which Aravind found and makes Kalyani wear it. The next day, Dasan questions Anand about their next destination. Anand tells Dasan that they are not returning to Trichambarath. Sivaramakrishnan tells Anand that Akhila will be healed and that he should not make any wrong decisions.
