In the latest episode of Chembarathi, Anand makes Kalyani walk without support. He stands beside her and watches as she starts walking. As Kalyani is in pain, Anand comes up with a plan. Anand acts like he is having a heart attack to see Kalyani’s reaction. Kalyani forgets her pain and runs to Anand’s help. Anand laughs and playfully mocks Kalyani. Meanwhile, Vilasini speaks with her husband on the phone. Ganga arrives there at the time and reminds Vilasini of the plan. Vilasini asks Ganga to be patient. She also adds that Priyanka will do her bit. Anand, Akhila, Sivaramakrishnan, Aravind, and Nandana plan the function. When Kalyani brings tea for everyone, Sivaramakrishnan tells Kalyani that he missed her.
Akhila warns Anand about Priyanka. Anand asks Akhila not to worry and tells her that he has planned everything accordingly. Sivaramakrishnan mocks Vilasini. Sivaramakrishnan asks Vilasini if she informed Sahadevan about the award received by Akhila. Meanwhile, Aravind and Subramaniam meet the photographer. They tell the photographer that the function should be covered in a way that it feels like a marriage reception and an award function merged. The photographer agrees to do as instructed. Priyanka calls Ganga and informs her that this function is going to be the last function of Akhila’s life. She tells Ganga to start celebrating her victory. Kalyani overhears Ganga’s conversation with Priyanka. She gathers courage and speaks against Ganga. A livid Ganga tries to slap Kalyani, but Kalyani stops her. Ganga challenges Kalyani.
