CBI Questions Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot’s OSD In Police Suicide Case
Rajgarh SHO Vishnudutt Vishnoi’s body was found hanging from the ceiling of his residence and two suicide notes were recovered.
On Tuesday (July 21), the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) questioned Devaram Seni, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, in connection with the alleged suicide of a policeman in Churu. Devaram Seni, today, appeared before a team of CBI in Jaipur for questioning, in the case related to the suicide of Rajgarh Station House Officer (SHO) Vishnudutt Vishnoi in Churu on May 23. Vishnoi’s body was found hanging from the ceiling of his residence and two suicide notes were recovered – one addressed to his family and the other to the Superintendent of Police (SP).
The Rajasthan government had handed over the investigation in the case to the CBI. Officials said that the Rajasthan High Court will resume hearing of Sachin Pilot‘s petition against the disqualification notices issued to him and the group of rebel MLAs. During this, the CBI quizzed the OSD to Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot in the alleged suicide case of Rajasthan Police Officer Vishnudutt Vishnoi, said the officials. The CBI is also probing into the audiotapes case regarding the Rajasthan political crisis.
